Terms of use
The short version: the software is free and MIT licensed, which means you may do almost anything with it, it comes with no warranty, and you use it at your own risk. The name and the mark are not part of that grant. These terms say the same in a few more words.
The software
- MIT licensed. roast-my-design-system, its MCP server, the Claude Code plugin and the skill edition are released under the MIT licence. You may use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute and sell copies of it, free of charge, as long as the copyright notice and the licence travel with it. The licence text is the binding version; this page explains it.
- Provided as is. The software is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
- No liability. The author is not liable for any claim, damage or other liability arising from the software or its use, whether in contract, tort or otherwise.
- At your own risk. The scanner reads the repository you point it at and writes a report beside it. The rules flags write into the agent files you ask it to, inside a marked block. Read what it wrote before you act on it. A score is a measurement against a benchmark, not advice about your product, your team or your business.
The name and the mark
roast-my-design-system and the GK mark are trademarks of Greg Kozakiewicz. A licence to the code is not a licence to the brand. Forking is welcome; republishing under this name, or a confusingly similar one, is not. The brand and attribution page says plainly what is fine and what is not.
The plugins and the skill edition
- The Claude Code plugin and the skill edition are the same software under the same licence and the same terms.
- The skill edition runs the published package from npm. Fetching it is subject to npm's own terms, and the AI agent that runs it (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another) is subject to that agent's terms, not these.
- Nothing here creates an account, a subscription or a service. There is nothing to cancel and nothing is owed.
This website
- The website and its contents are provided as is, for information. They may change or go away without notice.
- The example reports are real scans of public open-source repositories, published exactly as the tool wrote them. They are measurements, not endorsements or criticisms of those projects or the people who build them.
- Links to other sites are offered for convenience. Their content is theirs.
