Privacy
The short version: the tool reads the repository you point it at and writes its output next to it. Nothing about your code, your prompts or your conversation is sent to anyone, including the author.
The scanner, the MCP server and the plugins
- No network. The scan runs on your machine, reads your files and writes a report beside them. It makes no network requests. Fetching the package from npm is the one exception, and that is npm's own download, the same as for any package.
- No telemetry, no accounts, no analytics. Nothing is collected, counted or phoned home. There is no sign-up and no key.
- The MCP server answers from the same local scan. Your agent's questions and the server's answers stay inside your editor.
- The plugins and the skill edition add nothing to this. The Claude Code plugin runs the same engine from the plugin folder. The skill edition runs the published package from npm. Neither sends anything anywhere.
- The report is a file you own. It is written to your repo root and contains the measurements, the file paths they point to, and, when an agent wrote them, its notes. Share it or delete it as you like; nobody else has a copy.
- Where an AI reads the scan for you, that happens inside the agent you are already using (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor), under that agent's own privacy terms, not ours. The tool itself never calls a model.
This website
- Hosted on Vercel, which keeps ordinary server logs for its own operation under Vercel's privacy policy.
- Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google under Google's privacy policy.
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking scripts. The one thing stored in your browser is your light or dark preference, kept locally and never sent.
- The example reports are real scans of public open-source repositories, hosted exactly as the tool wrote them.
